Southern Italy Wine Culinary Travel Resource

Manet Community Health Center Fundraiser – Southern Italy Wine Experience

On June 5th Manet Community Health Center is hosting an event, June Bloom,  to raise funds to assist the health center in the provision of community based primary health care. One of the fundraising activities will be a “wine pull”. A ticket priced at $25; or three tickets priced at $20 per ticket will give the ticket holder the ability to “pull” or select a bottle or three, respectively, of wine. The wine will be covered so that the ticket holder will not know the identity of the bottle of wine.

We have donated 60 bottles of wine; many of our favorites, which are described below. We have visited or plan to visit most of the wineries. We have included only wines that have an USA importer and are readily available in Massachusetts or New York.  The wines are produced in an eco-friendly manner; some are certified organic, others are biodynamic, sustainable or naturally produced; in short all healthy wines.

The donation is a perfect blending of two passions: (1) as a board member of Manet Community Health Center I am raising funds to help Manet’s efforts to provide affordable quality health care and (2) this event introduces extraordinary wines from Southern Italy to a wide audience.

If you want a quality bottle of wine for $20, while at the same time supporting our local community health center, please attend the June 5th fundraiser. Please click on the link for more information on the fundraiser event and on Manet Community Health Cemter’s programs.

If you cannot attend the event please consider making a donation.

I will be at the event and will be available to answer any questions about the wine(s) that you select.
